Elijah Wood can’t wait to get married and have children.
The actor is excited about having a family one day, but he is in no rush to tie the knot and have kids, despite turning 31 next January.
“Eventually I want to get married and have kids. I don’t have it written down when it’s going to happen for me at the moment though,” he said.
“I would love to have a family one day. I’ve got a lot of friends who have families and it’s a time in my life that I look forward to. It’s also the kind of thing where you need to have things in place beforehand.”
The Hollywood star who split up from Gogol Bordello drummer Pamela Racine last year has spent most of his adult life filming the Lord of the Rings films but despite his busy career he always makes time to date.
“I’ve been busy so I’m not in a relationship at the moment, but there’s always time for women,” he said.
But Elijah who voices dancing penguin Mumble in new animated movie Happy Feet Two is more likely to find a possible bride-to-be in a bar rather than a nightclub, because he isn’t keen on visiting such establishments.
“I’m an OK dancer. I don’t really have a style. I dance to soul and funk music, sometimes I just tap my foot. I don’t really go to clubs, I go to bars,” he said.
