Zac Efron's perfect New Year

Zac Efron had a “perfect” New Year’s Eve with his family.

The 24-year-old actor who has been single since splitting with long-term girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens last year has marked the turning of the year in a number of memorable ways but says none compare to the intimate evening he had with his loved ones.

“There’s one I can remember with my close family,” he said. “It was perfect, but then I’ve also been on an island somewhere watching fireworks on a pontoon in Hawaii.”

Despite being single, there are several famous women who Zac finds attractive.

“I really like Eva Mendes, I think she’s gorgeous and she’s got a great personality,” he said.

“Penelope Cruz is really cool. I got really star-struck when I saw her at the Academy Awards. She was so cool, she was walking around the party barefoot. I thought, ‘God, you’re beautiful.’ “
