Angelina Jolie channelling Clint Eastwood

Angelina Jolie is adopting the Dirty Harry way of film making.

The sexy star says she is channelling Clint Eastwood‘s approach to working with actors after being inspired by him on the set of her 2008 movieChangeling.

“Clint Eastwood taught me a lot about working with people that you love, that you enjoy working with, to create a family, working with nice people, good people,” explains Angelina.

“He’s also very fast, so I had to learn about the economy of a shoot and a budget. I owe him a lot.”

Jolie recently revealed how she adopted a soft approach to her directing debut for In the Land of Blood and Honey and refused to get tough with her actors.

“I’m not a screamer,” says Angelina. “I would more likely whisper in their ear. It all depends on the subject matter but with this, I didn’t have to teach people because they were teaching me.

“I just had to calm them down and set the right environments so they felt safe.”
