Emily Blunt 'YSL made a 'terrible mistake' hiring me'

Emily Blunt has joked Yves Saint Laurent made a “terrible mistake” by hiring her to front a campaign for their Opium fragrance.

In a new interview with British newspaper The Telegraph, the British actress was asked why she was invited to join the ranks of supermodel Linda Evangelista, who once fronted the fragrance.

“I don’t know. I’ve no idea. Perhaps there was no one else?

“They made a mistake, a terrible mistake.

“I think that I’ve been wanting to make sure that when I did it, it would be the right thing.

“I’d been asked to do a couple of things but none were as classy as this.
