Olivia Newton-John won't write an autobiography

Olivia Newton-John has shelved plans to write an autobiography.
The 63-year-old actress whose varied career has seen her be an actress, singer and charity worker began writing things down so she could tell her life story, but changed her mind recently.
“You have to find out so many things about life when you are 18. One of them, which I did not know then, was that I would have no desire to tell my life story,” she said.
“I have written things down for an autobiography, but have scrapped it.
“I’ve decided that, living in the public eye, there’s so little of my life that has been mine over the years. I want to keep what is left to myself.”
Another thing the Grease star has learned to do now she is older is to live each day as it comes.
Olivia admits it’s easy to get too focused on the future when you’re young and ambitious and you forget to enjoy the moment.
“I wish I had realized at 18 that it is best to live for the day. To have plans and targets is all very well, but they can take over your life,” she said.
“I also should have realized how quickly life goes by. It starts slowly, but as you get older the faster it becomes. A year now goes by so quickly.”
