Tom Cruise 'Turning 50 won't slow me down'

Tom Cruise says his movie missions are no more impossible now he about to hit his fifties.

The Top Gun star celebrates his big birthday in July, 2012, but says he has no plans to slow down his all-action approach to movies.

“I feel good,” says Tom, who is back on screens in Mission: Impossible 4.

“I just did Rock of Ages and I felt good. I feel very lucky to still be doing this and to still be able to do it the way I want. I’m excited about turning 50 but it won’t change me.”

Cruise recently revealed he wants to have parties around the world to celebrate his 50th birthday.

“I’m gonna be 50 on July 3 and I think we’ll have a big party,” he said. “I’m gonna have a party in every country. I’m gonna go, ‘Look, I’m 50, man! Where’s my party?’”
