Tom Cruise really is a nice guy!

The Top Gun star’s latest on screen squeeze Paula Patton says Tom really is as fun to be around as he comes across on the red carpet.

“Not only is he a great actor but he’s a really great human being and is kind to everybody on set whether it be a PA or a grip or a gaffer,” says Paula, 36, who appears with Tom in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.

“It’s no coincidence that he’s as big a star that he is. I think it’s a very difficult thing when you become that enormous. People want to shoot you down. But he’s that big because he truly is that great of a person.”

Tom who’s married to actress Katie Holmes recently revealed he’d be happy to star in a Bollywood film.

“I love watching Hindi movies. There are many Hindi movies that come out every year but I do watch a few of them,” he said.

“(If offered a Bollywood film) I would never say no. I would love to do it.”
